Project Description: The project aimed at imparting vocational training to 500 youths and place at least 80% of them into job opportunities. The project aimed to impart employable arc welding skill training and job placement support to 500 unemployed and disadvantaged youths. The project with a core management team implemented training in 13 different centers in a phased manner. It was implemented within the timeframe cost and quality requirements and was able to place 60% graduates with jobs. The project received the Judge’s Commendation on the Achievement Award for excellence in project management presented by the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM) in December 2012 in Jakarta Indonesia.
