Children’s Day Celebrated at UCEP Nepal

  September 15, 2015 a collective birthday was celebrated at UCEP Nepal on the occasion of Children’s Day. UCEP Nepal has been celebrating this day as a collective birthday of the childen staying at Juvenile Correctional Home and STTS hostel since 2008. The program was chaired Senior Advocate and Chairperson of UCEP Nepal Mr Ram Krishna Nirala.  The program started with the national Anthem. The executive Director of UCEP Nepal Mr Subas Subedi welcomed all the guests. Rt. Honorable Chief Justice inaugurated School Building of Juvenile Correction Home at Sanothimi Bhaktapur

    Honorable Chief Justice  Mr. Ram Kumar Prasad Shah inaugurated the school building of a Juvenile correctional home managed  by UCEP Nepal on June 24,2015.The school building was built with the financial support of Mr.Bishnu Agrawal, Managing Director of MAW Enterprise and Agrawal family  in the memory of their respected Father Lt. Pralhad Roy Agrawal. The School building was built to address the problem of lack of  spacious classrooms for the children staying at the Juvenile correctional home. New Water Purifying System Introduced at UCEP Nepal

A new water purification plant is installed at UCEP Nepal on May 28, 2015 with support of Transformation Nepal and Water Step. Chairman of National Dalit Commission Mr. Man Bahadur Nepali inaugurated the purification plant. The program commenced with the welcome speech from the Vice Chairperson of UCEP Nepal Dr. Tulasi Bhattarai. Relief Material Distributed by UCEP Nepal in Partnership with Finn Church Aid (FCA)

On May 12 and 13, 2015, UCEP Nepal in partnership with Finn Church Aid (FCA) distributed its first relief material packages, contained in 5 trucks, to 550 families in all the wards of Bukhel and some areas of Ashrang and Sankhu VDC of Lalitpur districts. A team 9 from UCEP Nepal led by the Chairperson and accompanied by Mr. Antti Helin from Finn Church Aid conducted relief distribution for the locals of Bukhel VDC and its neighboring VDCs. Run for Inclusion 2014

November 23, 2014, 556 participants started the ‘Run for Inclusion’ from premises of UCEP Nepal at Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. This event simultaneously took place in 25 cities across South Asia that signifies initiation of Aide et Action International to promote sustainable and dignified integration of the otherwise excluded community into the mainstream social fold by spreading the message of inclusion through the runners.  The event in Nepal was jointly organized by Aide et Action International and UCEP Nepal. UCEP Celebrates Arrival of National Festival

    Arrival of National festival Dashain was celebrated at UCEP Nepal on September 30, 2014. All the machinery equipment, electronic machines at office and in each trade including all the vehicles were worshiped and offered Puja for the smooth operation and better functioning for better performance and productivity. This is our religious belief which can also be linked with respecting and worshiping work .All the board member and staffs were present at the Puja while life members and   representatives from partner organizations and distinguished guests were invited to take Prasad.

Sports Week for Healthy Body and Healthy Mind

As a part of extracurricular activity STTS organized a week long sports events from 7thSeptember to 12th September. This also included an essay, poem and drawing competition apart from other games like volleyball, Table Tennis and Chess. Blood Donation at UCEP Nepal

August 22 ,2014 blood donation program was organized by Friends of UCEP,  an alumni of UCEP Nepal in cooperation with Bhaktapur Red Cross Society . The chairperson of UCEP Nepal, board members, Deputy Director of UCEP Nepal donated blood in the program besides other staff members, trainees, x-trainees, members of FoUCEP and other guests from different organization also donated blood. There were more than 150 participants  but only 102 people donated blood at the program. “Friends of UCEP” Alumni meet

An alumni of passed out graduates, x-staff members volunteers and others who are directly or indirectly associated with UCEP Nepal was formed in November 30, 2012. However the alumni remained inactive for longer period. So, to revitalize the alumni, a meeting was organized at UCEP Nepal premises on July 30, 2014. There were altogether 53 participants.  The meeting focused on forming an acting committees and identifying the activities that could be conducted by the alumni.
